CrayonArt is a fabulous technique for coloring on fabric and features the folksy images so popular today. Crayons were used for household items in the late 1920s, and the method has been revived. Projects are quick and fun, and materials, supplies, and patterns are inexpensive. Great for gifts or personal use.
This is a wonderful way for beginning quilters to get started. Each CrayonArt pattern includes a color picture, a complete supplies list, several pages of technique and directions, and a reuseable image with both outline and shadow information. Color one image and quilt around it for a wallhanging, color several similar images for a bed-size quilt, or color just one and frame to use as a folk-art picture.
Dig out those crayons and let's get started!
